Cannon Boat Houses At Holmen
Cannon boat houses, at holmen is where i work. Going home from work i noticed some good looking light above and behind the cannon boat houses (kanonbådshallerne) at Holmen. The cannon boat houses are historic and therefor being preserved. The HDR is made up of four exposures. I really like this HDR, it has sort of a "Golden Hour" to it.

Nice reflections and warm colours, great. I'm a fan of HDR. Yesterday i wrote in a blog ... in the beginnigs of my HDR pictures i overdose the effekt. It's the challenge to receive a natural look. You go the right way.
I think when you first discover HDR and especially tone mapping, one tend to just go crazy. I (more or less) try to make my pictures look like ordinary pictures, but with that little bit of extra - and then ... sometimes i just go crazy :)

this is a piece of work. Of course the light is superb, but i think the reflections in the water add some kind of "painted" touch i really adore.
