I revisited this abandon auto shop. As you can see everything is covered with graffiti. There's graffiti inside and graffiti outside. There's even graffiti on the nearby walls.

On the other side of this auto shop, an engine sits. I walked around trying to find a good angle, when i came a cross a youngster with a bag, with spray cans. He's graffiti was really nice but if i lived beside this auto shop, i guess i wouldn't think so.

This image rocks! I'm not a huge hdr fan, but this one is really impressive. I am glad you kept it subtle. Terrific job.

Cool shot and hdr is very nice here, also the detail is fabulous.. and looks so Grand Theft Auto moody :D

Love this shot. The graffiti just comes alive here. I'm surprise they weren't determined to cover the ceiling too.

sherri on April 18, 2008 05:43

Good grief. I suppose they'll begin on the floor or ceiling now. I've never seen so much graffiti in one place. What a shot.

Thanks all.
I did one where the colors really exploded, but i wasn't a huge fan of that. Re-did it, in a more subtle way - which turned out to much more "powerful" :)

Quite a scene there.

A shame that it has been vandalized, but you taken a good shot of it and graffiti makes it stronger.

Bo, I know I submitted a comment this morning on this image. Don't remember exactly what I said but I know it was on the order of "another outstanding image, excellent details and great job processing."

un très beau traitement pour une peinture hyper-réaliste. un HDR qui donne du sens

miklos on April 19, 2008 18:28

Wow that's awesome.

Jonas on April 19, 2008 19:27

A classical HDRI type of scene that you have processed perfectly, as usual. I realy like your subtle and well balanced way of working with HDR-technique.

standley on April 19, 2008 22:45

Great HDR picture. They still have part of the ceiling to paint! Well seen

i'm grooving to the graffiti paint job on the car! someone should drive that baby around town!

susanna iacopini on April 21, 2008 18:08

Wow the car almost totally blends in with the background. Very cool shot.

Jim on April 22, 2008 05:18

There's something very primitive about graffiti. That, and the car, give the shot a human element.

Astrid on April 22, 2008 11:09

I am in awe f this stunning picture, this is art..both ways again..love the tones.

Seems like this is a place where homeless people sleeps and seeks shelter from the weather. A couple of days ago a homeless man was attacked and hospitalized, by other homeless people.
