This is a HDR of the Hans Christian Andersen, better know as HC Andersen. The HC Andersen status is placed at the Copenhagen town hall square. I see a lot of visitors climbing onto HC Andersen and getting someone to take a picture. This evening HC Andersen was left alone with his beloved Tivoli.
I had to sneak up on HC Andersen and shot a HDR - i don't think HC Andersen noticed me.
Camera: Nikon D200

This one was very, very good. My favorite.
Great watermark hehe.. Unobtrusive and cool. Nice night shot :)
Great tutorial on HDR btw !!!
Wow! This is superb! Eerie!
How did you do this... looks like magic.
Cute comments to go with your image. I don't think you observed you capturing his photo. Great night shot and the structure is beautiful. Exceptional image.
I really like the composition of the image. The HDR is less peceptable at night.
Very lovely light and image of "Andersen" looking at Tivoli. I love his work and am glad you treat him with such respect... :)
Great composition, good work!
Nice moody shot and thanks for the HDR tutorial.

A fine composition and resultant exposure with your special treatment. It's been a long time since I visited Tivoli. I liked Copenhagen very much. Excellent shot.
Great photo and postprocessing, I like the lighting and the texture of the statue.
belle image de nuit bien composée.
Beautiful! Great composition that enhances the sculpture artists intension of HC Andersen looking towards Tivoli. Somehow you manage to keep that special nighttime light through the whole HDR-process (which is difficult) and that is wonderful because it does alot for the feeling of the picture. Beautiful, Bo!

Great picture, like always :P
Saludos
What a fine night shot - great lighting and a strong composition. Well done.
Superb composition.. your hdrs are so cool man!
Beautiful... :)
Excellent night time shot, Bo. Like the foreground statue and I see just 5 exposures here. Great details here too, very nice job.
He seems to be blissfully unaware of your presence and quite captivated by the Tivoli. This is wonderfully composed. Great shot.
Thanks all.
It was a shot from the evening when Copenhagen turn off all their lights, the "Earth Hour". This was just after they had turned the light on again, obviously :)
Thanks to all who have pointed out the errors with getting comments through, i think i have fixed it now.
nice shot! i like how he's glancing at the fireworks on top
Très belle couleurs!!
Superb composition. I am amazed by the clarity of the image. I like the colour tones.
Nice lighting, it's pity we cannot see his face...
Very cool. i like the color and composition in this.
@Miro: He has refused to turn his head for many years now :)
I love it, this is one of my favourited, the lights are so great, the composition is superb.
Nice HDR as usual :) How many tear he is looking at Tivoli ?
He seems to have a moment of reflection: should I stay or should I go.
@capture it, share it: Think the statue is made by H. Luckow-Nielsen and it has been there since 1965.
Another very well lit night-time shot. This is excellent work!
Really nice composition - Think this works really well.
