There is some kind of hypnotic and tunnel effect (mostly created by your composition and the tones..) that I really enjoy in your image - really a great work !

The art deco awning really says New York to me.

I like the white sky. It divides the street into two in the same way as the reflections in the window do for the sign.

I think the highlights are perfect. And you're right about this being a 1960s image. I felt a bit of nostalgia the moment I saw this.

The tones are really interesting here. Is this selective color or part of the HDR process? Either way, it works quite well!

The tone mapping is done with a low color saturation and then i adjusted the colors in LAB mode in photoshop.
