I saw a lot of these window cleaners in New York. I was amazed at how the window cleaners just go up and down the buildings, without a huge safety system. The small platform the window cleaners are working from, is not even closed in the ends. If i worked as a window cleaner - i would be really scared. I sat an watch these window cleaners at work and they do work really fast. The hanging system the window cleaners used, i also saw construction workers use.

The platforms look like cursors on a mixing table. But, as you say, this kind of music is nothing but comfortable.
I suppose that's why we sometimes hear reports of them falling. I was surprised at the number of crews they have. Looks like they're planning on finishing this building in one day. Interesting shot.
This kind of job is certainly not for everybody... The buildings look gray, even metallic. It gives a strange taste to the picture. I suppose you wanted it !
Wow, what a daunting job. I love how you processed this - it looks like something out of the future.
Nice shot but I think if I was there, probably I'd have only framed them very tightly haha that's me, still well done.
Cool, it looks some kind of automatic robotic cleaning system
i love this one.. the tone is great!!!
Like ants climbing a hill. Cool lines.
I agree with the comment of metallic look, nice picture.
I'm very glad that I don't have that job (btw what do they do if they need to go to the bathroom ;-)
3D Tetris is here at last!
I really love this one. Nice placement of the sign in the foreground. The silvery relectiveness of the sky scrapers is wonderful.
Definitely nothing I could do! But the view on top must be awesome ;)
Anyway, I like the colors in this one, so urban-like :)
Really love the perspective of this image. It is well composed and the lines really draw my attention as to how large those buildings are. Great capture.
Bo, fantastic work. Nice perspective and frameing!
Have to give those guys a lot of credit, that's one job I could never do. Like the metallic tones to this image and all the vertical lines. Great composition and really like the perspective in this one.
This is a unique view of those cleaners, great respect for those who do the job, the earnings are sky high though..
This is a great picture, love the perspective and the tones in this one.
just lovin everything about it
I'd hate this job..but I love your photo of them suspended there.
this is really quite incredible. it just makes the building look so much bigger.
Yeah, not the job for me, but they are supposed to wear a safety harness, by law.
Dangerous job to be sure! I really like the scale the window washers give to these massive buildings.
your image captures so well the enormity of the job!
Nice tones and composition. Love the sense of immensity in this shot. Great picture!
Jesus do I hate heights. :(
A few months back in NYC one end of those scaffold supports let go, and two window washers hung on at 50 stories up for an hour until the NYC Fire Department broke some windows and pulled them in. :/
Great capture Bo. The color and compostion are perfect here. :)
@Tom: uh that sound really unpleasant. Don't think i would go up in one of those, again, after such an experience.
excellent image - I like the subject, the colors and the textures
A fine city shot. I too am amazed at the work these window cleaners do under such difficult and seemingly dangerous conditions. Fine image.
I like the tones and the geometric textures of the towers with the window washers to break it up, but I am not sure about the crop that leaves only the roof of the taxi and only part of the street sign in the frame.
Great color treatment. I love the wide angle look to it.
