Construction Site Behind Fisketorvet

Its an evening shot and there's some light on the construction site. You are looking from the top of the Fisketorvet and down on the construction site. Its the right part of the construction site. The big cranes are sort of overlooking the site.

Fisketorvet is a building that i often drive by. This evening on my way home, i drove by Fisketorvet again and saw some light shining on a nearby construction site. I tried to find a way to sneak into the construction site and take some pictures.

People was still working inside the construction site, so it was a no go. On top of Fisketorvet there is a parking lot and i drove up there. Fisketorvet offers a fantastic view, especially in the evening.

Great shot with specific mood. I like lights on cranes.

Beautiful nightshot, but it feels like the horizon is of to the left, it feels like I’m falling down my chair when I’m looking at it!

great picture! Only just discovered the term and technology of HDR(I) and am really excited to start using it. I have Nikon D80 and am an architecture student. Can’t wait to master this technique!

I also read that it is possible to use HDR for setting up lighting information in 3D computer models based on HDR images. Wouldn’t happen to know anythinng about that?

@Khalid: I have not done that much 3D rendering, but i have prepared a couple of HDRi for others to use. There are many ways of using HDRi in 3D. The simple spherical projection to generate correct (creative) reflections.

The best information site i can think of is Christian Bloch’s www.hdrlabs.com.

Thanks for the visit, and the comment :)
