Galgani studio used to look like this. This is shot 8 hours before they moved everything out.
Normally I am not very keen on the "over processed" look, but for this shot i wanted it to be more paint like. Inspired by the picture on the wall.
I wanted Paolo to have a picture that looked like he had just left the room. Marks on the chair from where he mixed music for many hours, while the dust settled on the synthesizer (look closely and you will see where the fingers have touched). Aging walls, dust and scratches. The room is used and should show it.
Paolo didn't like this version and therefor ended up with another version of it. Its his memories and i hope he is enjoying it on a wall in his new studio.

It’s really magical the way you’ve done this. To me, the walls make this photo look unreal. Hats off…
A nice a very detailed render of this room, I also love the muted colors!
Awesome and surreal image. I especially love the processing in this one. Great SciFi image. Nice picture on the wall too.
I find it works good, background for a video game, nice work
great work and colors
Usually I do not like so much HDR-ed photos, but this one is interesting. The lights and reflections are very nice.
I like your postprocessing (in your shots I mean, not just on this one), you know how don’t overdo. Cool shot anyway!
That is very cool!! and a lot of hard work I suspect :) I did notice how it all matched the painting on the wall (before reading the description). I wouldn’t mind hanging this on the wall. fine work.
Although I usually don’t like over-the-top HDR’s, I like this one :) Looks a bit dusty :)
I also have some difficulties with “over-processed” HDRs but this is different, it’s more like a painting and there is no suggestion that it’s should be viewed as a photo … it’s a piece of art. I like it.
Thanks all. I really appreciate your comments.
Im going away for a couple of days, on an photo assignment in Jutland.
Wow! I really love this class of HDRs!! Great colors and light! Wonderful!
Nice job! I really like this one. Almost seems like a drawing or painting. Very nice.
Interesting - what I really like is that the final result looks like something out of a video-game…maybee Half Life 2 or something in the Fallout-genre. Post-apocalypse stuff :-)
Wow. I like the tons of details and amazed by the lack of noise, even in this low-light situation. Do you filter your HDRIs with some noise reduction software? Or you have some special version of tone-mapping? Regards.
@Csaba/EyeVision: I do my best to fight noise in my HDRs and most of the time you get noise when you push it too far.
I have Noise Ninja, but it does not do a very good job for my HDRs. When i shoot normal photography at high iso Noise Ninja works brilliant.
With this one there’s was a portion of noise in the blue channel, so i blurred that a bit, not too much.
This image is awesome! Nice work Bo. :)
The picture on the wall and your post-processed picture really seem from the same author. Great job!
You have a nice studio there.
cool, it looks like the bridge of a space craft. i love the image of the piano player in the corner.
Excellent HDR work. Is there some LucisArt of topaz also ?
Awesome. I’m not really a fan of HDR images but there are a few i like. This one is definitely one of them! Congrats!
