Kata-Backpack.jpg

I have a backpack that i can carry it all in. I had a long look at Lowe Pro (have two of their small bags) and Kata. Eventually i ended up with a Kata, somehow it felt better and also i could fit my 17" laptop in it.

All the Nikon gear collected over the years gave me a free membership card to the Nikon group: Nikon Professional User. The NPU came in handy, when i had to get my camera fixed before a vacation. The shop said six weeks and i just waved my NPU and they said: 14 days.

Since digital photography makes it easier (and a lot cheaper) to do HDR photography, i have been using the last year trying to understand it. I think that HDR Photography, brings a completely fresh view on photography.

A lot of people have a great dislike towards HDR Photography or more correctly tone mapped photos. I simply see it as a new art form and one i really, really like. You can over do the tone mapping, to a point where it does not look like a photograph anymore. It more looks like a painting. Is it really over doing it or is it just someone being more of a painter than a photographer?
