house with a corn field in front of them. The houses looks like troll houses. The wind has created movement in the corn field

Behind Christiania you can find these houses. There are many photo opportunities around Christiania. I wanted to capture these houses with the sun setting behind them. One evening driving past them, the sky, the sun, everything was just perfect.

Because of the back lit subject i captured 14 exposures. I wanted to make sure i had fully captured the sun and the glow it had.

Thanks Leisa. I think it was worth all those time i discarded the exposures and just kept on waiting for the right moment.

This is simply fabulous. The colours (or lack of them) make it so very attractive. Simply superb.

All your comments really make those 4 hours spend on cleaning up the movement in the picture, worth it. Thank you. Its appreciated!

An abandoned village, an atmosphere like in a fantastic film. Where are the ghosts?

Very cool, it looks a little like a scene from the movie “The Vilage”

Thanks all :) I also think it as a certain film feeling to it. At first when i saw the houses, they made me think of trolls… .. .

Beautiful shot. Looks like something out of a Tim Burton film or Neil Gaiman novel. Very nice.

Wow… awesome lighting, the HDR effect works really well in this scene. the grass and the plane streaks in the sky add so much.
